15 DAYS

Thank you for visiting my page. I am filled with so much gratitude. As many of you know, I have spent the last 2.5 LONG years trying to find my own footing after my mom went into the nursing home. It has been a difficult, complex, confusing time rife with its own obstacles yet filled with some profound life milestones -- it has been a time in search of everything -- a search perhaps begun when I left for Seattle November 1st, 2010.

Speaking specifically of the last 9 months, I believe that the more I have let go of my attachment to my negative experiences -- primarily through writing -- the more positive energy has entered. I discovered the branch of health tree my lifelong illness problems come from, and while the news has been bittersweet, knowing after 43 years of searching is an amazing release. I am a handful of months away from publishing my first book of creative writing. I was picked up as a represented artist in an NYC gallery and subsequently participated in three NYC art shows/events. I have been accepted into a Masters program in Art Therapy Psychology, and will likely begin there in the Fall after a deferred acceptance. I had work join the collection of an art museum.

After some unfortunate experiences, I am also moving my art studio after these 2.5 years. I walk out the door for the last time February 5th. As -- in a familiar place in the land of Bittersweet --  a celebration of my new journey I am embracing a path I diverted from about 8 years ago, when I was in studies for Buddhist ministerial work. I have much in my art studio I need to detach from to facilitate this.  For the next 15 DAYS I am going to have an ENERGY RELEASE BONANZA, I am -- quite joyously -- hoping to send my art-children and materials to new homes so as to share them with new folks, new places, new viewers, new energies. This is not a sale. I truly want to find these kids new homes. I would LOVE for folks to offer donations for these kids, but I wont turn down anything anyone feels is appropriate. Anything you share will go towards sustaining my studies in Buddhism & Contemporary Psychology, and Trauma Informed Expressive Arts Therapy for Women. AND I will send you a copy of the book when it is published.

I will be posting works on FACEBOOK and on here for the next 15 DAYS with "suggested" donation prices. Unless the pieces says UNAVAILABLE next to it, it is still available. If you like something, click the CONTACT next to it and email me, and we can talk. I can ship across the US. SENDING YOU ALL LOVE.

JANUARY 20 - DAY 8 - WORK 1

DAY OF WOMEN'S MARCH/ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF TRUMP'S INAUGURATION

this is a work from my CONSENT series. this is one of three works I was working on during the pre-election period of 2016 presidential race. on the night Trump's tape leaked where he bragged about assaulting women and grabbing them without their consent, I wrote the text on the three works. the works were finished in an emotional, angry, scared, disgusted reaction into the late night of the very night the tape was played all over the news for the first time, in response to abject horror of the POSSIBILITY we would elect a sexual predator for our president. it baffled me that a person would do this, any man would does this, and what happens when your daughters find out? what do you tell them? what do you tell the hundreds of daughters that will come after your daughters? how do you explain this to them? all of the women who come after you, they did not consent. as I begin my work on trauma studies, I look back to that night, and --- no words.
